AIESEC members, also called AIESECers, assist in holding overseas internships and volunteering work catered for youth. Along the way while also facilitating their cultural exchange experience. Each member gets hands-on experiences from their department ranging from initiating and executing marketing campaigns to pitching and collaborating with external parties.

Branding And Marketing (BM)

The marketing department plays a vital role in promoting AIESEC’s exchange programmes to their customers. Through marketing, you will be focusing on promoting the exchange programmes AIESEC offers to the youth. Get hands-on experience of conducting market research, content writing, and learning how to create effective promotional materials.

  • Promote exchange programmes AIESEC offers through digital and in-person means

Finance, Legal Administration and Information Management (FLAIM)

Ensuring that all legal terms are being met, FLAIM monitors, tracks the financial status, and organizes the information of the organization. From bookkeeping to financial statements, members in this department are able to learn these new skills.

  • Ensures all organizational events, content complied with corresponding laws and regulations

  • Monitor and track financial status such as bookkeeping financial statements

  • Organize and maintain all information of the organization

What will you develop?

  • Data analysis

  • Fundamental accounting

  • Research

Incoming Global Talent (iGT)

Members will go through the journey of sourcing young people who are looking for overseas internships from different parts of the world in collaboration with local companies here in Hong Kong.  Thus members will be the ones who are in charge of buddies who’ve decided to take up internships in Hong Kong, and ensure that talents have a smooth internship experience.

  • Sourcing overseas youths interested working at Hong Kong

  • Pitching and collaborating with local companies

  • Ensure smooth internship experience of overseas youths

  • Understanding customers’ needs

Outgoing Global Talent (oGT)

Members will be able to learn how to facilitate exchanges for youth that sign up for our Global Talent exchange products, through selection processes which focus on preparing these participants for an overseas internship and exchange experience. Through this process, you will be able to understand more about fellow youth as you help them prepare for exchange, and ensure they have a smooth internship experience abroad!

 

  • Facilitate local youths in joining Global Talent exchange programmes

Talent Management (TM)

Members in this department ensures that all members in the organization not only are reaching their departmental goals, but as well as their personal development. Such as tracking the members’ personal goals, creating interactive and meaningful events for the whole entity and lastly,  having one on one sessions with the members to ensure their AIESEC journey is smooth sailing.

  • Ensure organizational health and members well-being

  • Track members’ growth and goals throughout the year

Partnership Development and Public Relations (PDPR/PD/BD/ER)

Members will help build a better brand of AIESEC in the universities and external partners. They help communicate with  external partners such as NGOs ,ensuring we have good partnerships that can help sustain the organization. Through pdpr’s good relationship, the organization can gain sponsorships and have a good reputation. 

  • Develop partnership with external parties such as NGOs and companies

  • Create campaigns to engage with partners and past AIESEC members

  • Maintain good relations and reputation for AIESEC

Outgoing Global Volunteer (oGV)

Members will facilitate exchanges for youth that sign up for our Global Volunteer exchange products, which focuses on preparing these participants for an overseas volunteering experience that relates to one of the 16 Sustainable Development Goals. Through this process, you will be able to understand more about fellow youth, equipping them for a volunteer exchange experience to help make the world a better place!

  • Facilitate local youths in joining Global Volunteer exchange programmes

  • Equip exchange programme participants of relevant knowledge and skills

  • Develop SDG goals awareness in university
