The International Congress 2007 in Turkey ended in tears and hugs on 30th August, 2007. All of the delegates had learned a lot in the congress and got themselves ready to be an Achiever. Now we are right in the middle on the road to achieve AIESEC 2010, we need to understand our role as the leader in the year of 2007 and make progressive growth to the organization. Twelve delegates from AIESEC in Hong Kong enjoyed and learned a lot in the Congress, let’s see how they think about the Congress.
Beatrice (Member Committee President)
After the conference, I have a strong feeling that, Success is focusing the full power of all you are on what you have a burning desire to achieve. In the congress I witnessed the success of the organization from alumni, great AIESEC leaders and their contribution, what felt was, that some achieve great success, is proof to all that others can achieve it as well. We can achieve more!
Cyrus (Director Business and Development)
You can hardly imagine partners, members from Supervisory Group, alumni (80s, 90s and recent alumni) and supporters are so enthusiastic about building up capacity for AIESEC just because of AIESEC 2010 and the Way we do!
On 15th Sept, IC delegates held a national IC bring back session to bring back the

REALACAD - IT'S WHERE THE BEST GET SO MUCH BETTER...
A Small step now can make a Huge difference in your life!
These few words show the pride of our own identity. “I am an AIESECer” Campaign attracted PolyU students’ attention by setting up a promotional counter and stand in the campus. We organized a series of orientation activities in September. “You and AIESEC”, which is an information session, introduced AIESEC and the world reality to challenge students’ world view from both internal and external perspective. It was so fantastic that we invited Kate Larsen, who was an extremely experienced AIESECer, as our guest speaker. “AIESEC Discovery” enabled them to understand more about AIESEC and experience our culture through games and sessions.
Thank you for MC, LCs and interns’ active support!
Induction interview is going to be conducted. Joint-U Induction Camp will be held on Oct 13-14. This is the first few steps to develop others and create our impact in PolyU.
On the 11th September, our first recruitment activity, Orientation Night was held. It was motivating to see freshmen actively participate the sessions as well as interacting with the guests who were largely interns in Hong Kong.
Our second activity was World Cafe. it was on 17th September. At that time, we invited some interns to join our discussion on the topic of cultural differences. Participants showed their interest in knowing different cultures and discrimination problem in Hong Kong.
Just yesterday, we held our recruitment talk. We were honored to have our LC alumnus,Venue Chang and Alvin Chan who was the Director Finance of AIESEC in Hong Kong during session 2006-2007. There were more than 30 participants. Most of them have handed in their member application form and would like to join the induction camp we are going to hold with AIESEC-LC-HKBU and AIESEC-LC-PolyU.
Next week will be our first round selection. Our whole LC is excited about seeing our NEW GENERATION!
