The biggest news of AIESEC in Hong Kong in 2007!!!

A star from AIESEC in Hong Kong was born.

Mindy Ho is going to leave Hong Kong and head to Rotterdam , Netherlands in late May for transition at the AIESEC International Office. She is going to work with stars from all around the world in this office for another year in AIESEC.

Can you imagine an AIESEC International member is from AIESEC in Hong Kong ? Can you imagine you will see this her dancing passionately with big smiles in the AI dance 07/08? We all knew it's you!!! The star!! Mindy!

Global Partnerships Manager of AIESEC International!

Global Partnerships Manager of AIESEC International

As part of the External Relations Team, the Global Partnerships Manager is responsible for the account management and partnership development of the largest and most complex Global Partnerships and the delivery of several Global Exchange Partnerships of AIESEC International, including PwC, DHL, ABN AMRO, UBS, etc. Its main job role include managing internships delivery in key locations of the companies around the world, employer branding for the partners, high level networking, etc.

On behalf of AIESEC in Hong Kong 07/08, I wish our dear Mindy the best in her AI term and will safely arrive to the wonderful Rotterdam office! A great and fantastic year is ahead in front of you Mindy!!

Last Chance to be part of the National Internal Audit Team 0708 !!!

To ensure the transparency and accountability of AIESEC in HONG KONG, it is of utmost importance to have an independent body to audit the organization in an professional and appropriate manner which holds every entity accountable. Therefore, this internal audit team requires people who are analytical, reasoning with logic and with clear communication to bring AIESEC in HONG KONG with a higher level of clarity and accountability.


The LAST CHANCE to apply to be part of the internal auditor team will be 23:59 (HK time), 30th April 07. CC IC 2007 in Turkey - Application open!

AIESEC International Congress (IC) is one of the largest, and most important events in AIESEC's calendar - over 500 delegates from over 90 countries! Asia Pacific Member Committee Transition and Handover Party!!

Wonder how MC 0708 will be empowered to perform their job the best?

From May 24-27, incoming and outgoing Asia Pacific Member Committee Members will gather to have a regional transition conference and handover party in Malaysia!!! This is the most exciting and an unprecedented initiative in Asia Pacific Growth Network, with the objectives of

1. To provide a platform for the newly elected AP MC's to interact, plan and initiate international cooperation

2. To provide an avenue for the newly elected AP MC's to plan around the GN initiatives and Global Focus Area's

3. To ensure proper understanding of the organisation (global, GN and country) among all AP MC's

HKUST - Embrace Africa 2007

Embrace Africa 2007 - A brand new start


"Embrace Africa" is an AIDS Campaign co-organized by AIESEC-LC-HKUST and the Hong Kong Red Cross. The campaign aims to raise the awareness of the AIDS issue in Hong Kong. Starting from June 2006, we have successfully conducted the 12-day service trip in Nairobi, Kenya and launched the Peer Education Programme in Hong Kong. Now we are holding a closing ceremony to wrap up the whole campaign. But this is not the end. With the aim of empowering more talented individuals to continually fight against AIDS, we proudly introduce you the new team of Embrace Africa 2007.


 

Embrace Africa 2007 has recruited a new organizing committee team. The OC Team structure is revised with an aim to providing more leadership positions and nurturing more leaders who are socially responsible and culturally sensitive.


 

Closing cum Prize-giving Ceremony details

 

Date: 27 April 2007

Time: 19:00 to 20:30

Venue: Exposition Hall of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)


 

The ceremony will be a conclusion of Embrace Africa 2006. On top of that it is a time for Embrace Africa 2007 to kick-off. We will also present prizes to the winners of the Glove Design Competition. Glove Design Competition is a theme competition targeting secondary students with an aim to raise their awareness on AIDS issues. Participants were required to design a glove with the theme of how our love to African living with HIV/AIDS. Exhibition of the winning gloves is held concurrently at the same place.
