Birth of the Brand New AIESEC.net
Finally the new version of AIESEC.net has been launched. After an amazing work from AIESEC International IS team, the IS Musketeers and Azri Solutions, the migration from our old OpenACS 4.6 based platform to the brand new up-to-date OpenACS 5.1 has been devlivered succesfully.
We would like to thank everyone involved in the realization of this happening and invite all AIESECers around the world to enjoy the new features, functionalities and look that the new platofrm brings along.
It has been deeply and properly tested but still due to the complexity of the migration there might arise some very few bugs in the next days. This is something expected and normal yet please report them here. For any positive and constructive feedback and questions please post them in the Global IS Community here.
Along with the IS musketeers we will be providing soon a description of new features and enhancements that came along with this upgrade as well as starting the process to update the respective sections in the Help Centre.

National Internal Audit 2005/06
The 2nd round National Internal Audit is going to start in the coming weeks. It acts as a bridge between MC and LCs, and is crucial for a rapid growth in AIESEC in HONG KONG.
National Score Board Items, National Service, and Financial Management will be evaluated. The evaluation will be based on the performance of Member Committee since June, 2005. The process is generally divided into 2 parts: (1) Online Survey for LCEBs, and (2) Questionnaire for specify LCEBs and MCEBs. Fundamentals could be obtained from the above to ensure an accurate and persuasive evaluation. The results of the Annual Audit will be presented during SNCF.
If you have any inquiry, please find National Internal Auditor, Chan Alvin (alvin.chan@aiesec.hk) or Member Committee Finance & Administration Crystal Wang (crystal.wong@aiesec.hk).

APXLDS with 16 Delegates from Hong Kong!
With 16 Leaders represented by AIESEC Hong Kong during the annual conference for the Pacific Region in Philippines from 22nd to 31st March 2006, Hong Kong represented the largest delegation out of 18 countries. AIESEC Asia Pacific Exchange Leadership Development Seminar (APXLDS) was an intense 10-day learning experience involving different issues such as Corporate Responsibility, youth leadership, volunteerism and entrepreneurship.
APXLDS is AIESEC's annual conference bringing together delegates from Asia Pacific Region as well as members from all over the world to learn and discover different leadership skills. There were two topics in the Conference. One of them is called Leadership Development Seminar which is for Local Committee Members to discover and develop their leadership and build up hand-on Projects Based on Exchange (PBoX). On the other hand is XPro, for Member Committee and Local Committee Presidents to understand the organizational long- term direction and also to know how to implement strategies to achieve AIESEC vision for 2010.
