The International Development Conference 2007

Hey people, the International Development Conference (IDC) 2007 is coming! Being one of the determined Issued-based AIESEC Experience driving countries, we would like to send more high potential individuals to the conference, to share and learn different issues in the world!

The conference is going to be held in the city of Jamshedpur in the Western part of India. Jamshedpur is originally the city from where the TATA Empire emerged and this conference is being hosted with the support of TATA Steel.

Opportunities that are available for members to participate :

1. Delegates - delegate registrations will be opened on the 12th of October 2007
2. Facilitators & the agenda team - This team would be responsible for evolving the agenda for IDC and delivering the conference. The deadline is the 15th of October 2007.
3. On site OC - Applications for the same would be opened on the 12th of October 2007.

Study tours would be arranged post the conference by Indian LC's - further information on the same will be sent out soon.

The Solar Conference 2007 is going to be held in 3 weeks!

1 new exchange partner is formed with Asian Express Movers Limited and 1 internship is raised. National sales team in the first month has laid down a strong foundation for the team to strive for the best in the coming year. Thanks once again for the effort of the national team!!! ER Team on Learning Network (LN) Day

This year, we would like to provide more opportunities for LC members to get involved to network with our Partners and Potential Partners which are engaged into our LN Day in the coming NLDS 2007.

We hope to have a maximum of 7 sharp individuals to represent AIESEC in HK to assist and network with those guests and create an engagement plan for each of the externals. You would have the opportunities to truly experience on how to increase involvement of partners in national level with your active participation. (Note: Prior training will be provided!)

PolyU ~Wonderful Induction STARTED!

After a series of recruitment activities and interviews, AIESEC-LC-PolyU brought 73 newies to the stage of “Introduction to AIESEC”.

Our induction activities kicked off on 5th Oct which newies played some team building games as well as did self-discovery. Also, they met their mentors and teammates on that day. They were all excited and motivated about AIESEC!

More induction activities are coming, our newies are so eager to compose their own AIESEC experience and we look forward to the unique AIESEC stories from them.
